give some time.
There is no minimum commitment. These all count, and the small ones count more often than you would think:
- come alongBeing in the room IS helping. A fuller circle is a warmer one.
- tell one personSomeone you know is scratching through the night. Send them our way.
- keep the chat warmA kind reply in the WhatsApp community on a hard skin day.
- help run a sessionCo-facilitate alongside us, and we will show you everything first.
- open to discussIf you want something specific for your portfolio, such as outreach, marketing or logistics, tell us. You learn a lot from a small team, and we would rather shape the role around you than hand you a fixed job.
what you get back.
- Company from people who genuinely get it, on both sides of the room.
- A real say: we include volunteers in almost every decision about how the circle runs.
- Everything fits around your life: come to what you can, step back when you need to.
- You are close to everything: in a team this small, you see how it all works and learn a lot along the way.
- We show you everything ourselves before you are ever on your own with a task.
how it starts.
Email us, and one of us (Rhys or Francis) will reply for a friendly chat: what you would enjoy, how much time feels right, no pressure either way. If nothing fits right now, that is completely fine too.
One honest note: because this is a peer support space for adults who may share difficult things, anyone helping to run a session goes through some simple checks with us first, and reads our safeguarding policy. Training documents are provided to support you along the way. None of it applies to the smaller ways to help: it is just what keeps the space safe for the people who come to it.
say hello.
